Museum of Beaux Arts
After 1983, the Museum has been installed between the church and the Tourist Office. It is one of the most important collections in Gers. It shows the evolution of the Italian, Flemish, Dutch and French painting from the XVth until XIXth century. The Museum owns a large collection of beautiful faiences, including the items from the main porcelain factories of the south-west.

An original 15th century cathedral, masterpiece of meridional Gothic style, looks over the town, its stately triumphal arch spanning the street.
Take a look at the traditional wooden beamed houses, the towers, the remains of the fortifications, and visit the magnificent museum of Fine Arts.

Jewellery
Claudie DACLIN, designer of "Red Fish Jewellery", developed her craft based on creative, esthetic and graceful forms. Her studies in the History of Art logically geared her towards producing original and unique jewellery. She will welcome you to her workshop, where you will discover necklaces, bracelets and earrings, made from high quality beads of glass, terracotta, wood and minerals.
Claudie Daclin also makes to order special pieces of jewellery.

How to make "croustades à l'Armagnac"
While you travel round the Gers, you will find Serge and Sylvie's shop close to Mirande, with their know-how to make the real Armagnac croustade with different flavours right in front of you. Amongst their products, which are always homemade, is the brand new Armagnac and foie gras croustade, a delicious blend of typical Gers products.

Pottery
Inspired by ancient pottery Sue Ure makes pots that are both classic and contemporary. All her work is thrown using white stoneware or porcelain and her production includes tableware, vases, and one off pieces. Special items can be made to order. Some pots are decorated using slip or lustres, others are simply glazed to emphasise their clean lines.
During your visit, Sue will explain the different stages in the production of her pots.
